Dublin doesn't get talked about as its own market the way Blacksburg or Christiansburg do. It's a small town, and it gets treated like one, mostly as the place people pass through on US-11 or I-81 on the way somewhere else. What that misses is how many real small businesses are actually here: family-run shops and service businesses that have been at the same spot for years, the kind of place where everybody already knows the owner by name but nobody outside town can find them online.
